Glamtush reports that a Redeemed Christian Church of God minister, Brother Daniel Ephraim William (aka Babadan), is set to embark on a 668.1 km journey on a bicycle from Eket in Akwa Ibom State to the RCCG Redemption City of God at Kilometre 46, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, in honour of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye’s 83rd birthday celebration.
Brother Ephraim, a minister in RCCG from Continent 1, Region 35, Youth Province 5, The Glory Place Area and Zone, the Royal Ambassadors Parish, left Eket on Wednesday, January 15th, on his bicycle with little groceries, water, gospel tracts, the Open Heaven Devotional Book and his Bible, and is now on his way to Lagos to meet Daddy Adeboye at the Redemption City.
Aside from his major aim of celebrating Daddy Adeboye’s birthday, Brother Ephraim is also using the opportunity to key into Vision 2032 of the Mission to expand the membership base of the RCCG from its current number to 40 million members. And in achieving this, he was seen sharing gospel tracts along his way and at some major bus stops and junctions.
The history-making brother said concerning his movement, “I make sure I stop over at RCCG churches to eat and take my rest overnight and possibly shower before I proceed on my journey.”
While reacting to the possibility of counting the number of RCCG parishes he will be passing along the way, he said, “I won’t be able to count all the parishes because if I should do that, I will be drained, and because I’m on a bicycle ride, it won’t be convenient. But, taking a selfie in front of the churches? I will surely do that. He said.”
Brother Ephraim’s journey will be closely monitored by this medium and the Mission until the end of his mission.
