Malami Leads Emissaries To Emir Of Bichi For Buhari’s Son, Yusuf

 

 

 

Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami yesterday led President Muhammadu Buhari’s emissaries to the Emir of Bichi, Nasiru Ado Bayero, in Kano State.

Their mission was to seek the royal family’s consent for their daughter to marry President Buhari’s son Yusuf.

The President’s emissary consist of governors of Abubakar Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Badaru Abubakar (Jigawa) and and Babagana Zulum (Borno).

Other members of the delegation include a former Zamfara State governor Abdulaziz Yari and Kano State Deputy Governor Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna.

The delegation, on behalf of Yusuf Buhari, sought the hand of Zahra Nasir Ado Bayero from the Emir of Kano, who is the elder brother of the Emir of Bichi.

The delegation also paid homage to the Bichi emir and in-law to be of President Muhammad Buhari.
