Malami, Adamu, El-Rufai, Two APC Governors Meet In Abuja Over Naira Swap

Three governors of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Monday met with the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami and APC, National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, over the Naira swap policy.

This online newspaper understands that the meeting, which lasted almost an hour, was held at the APC National Secretariat on Monday.

In attendance at the meeting were Governors Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State.

The meeting is coming ahead of Wednesday’s hearing by the Supreme Court in the case between the Federal Government and three governors

Recall that the three aggrieved governors had dragged the federal government to court, seeking a restraining order to stop the full implementation of the naira redesign policy of the CBN.

However, the apex court adjourned the hearing until February 22.
