Ingredients
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- Water
- Tea strainer
- Honey/ sugar (Optional)
Method
- Boil two cups of water and add 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric.
- Stir and cover.
- Allow to simmer for 5 more minutes.
- Filter into a tea cup or mug with a tea strainer.
- You can add sweetener like honey or sugar if you want as turmeric is a bit bitter and spicy in flavour.
Ground ginger, cinnamon, milk or lemon juice are also some of the ingredients you can add to your turmeric drink according to your taste.
You can drink turmeric drink hot or cold but it is better to drink it hot. Just enjoy it!
