Glamtush reports that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have just broken the internet after appearing in a photoshoot together.
The pair of footballing titans have dominated the beautiful game for more than 15 years and taken the sport to new heights with their incredible achievements.
This online platform recalls that Messi and Ronaldo have a total of 12 Ballon d’Ors between them and have pushed one another to be the very best in one of sport’s most epic rivalries.
There’s a mutual respect as opposed to a friendship but on Saturday night fans were shocked to see an image of the pair together posted online.
Both Messi and Ronaldo took to their respective Instagram pages to share the photo, which sees the legendary duo playing chess on a Louis Vuitton briefcase.
The Argentine captioned the post: “Victory is a State of Mind. A long tradition of crafting trunks photographed by @annieleibovitz for @louisvuitton.”
The picture quickly went viral and may well go down as one of the most liked posts in the history of Instagram after racking up more than 10 million likes across both posts in just over 30 minutes!

Fans were in awe over the surreal snap and how historic it promises to be.
One person wrote: “Best. Photo. Ever.”
Another said: “Nothing much to see here… Just two goats playing chess.”
A third added: “Picture of the century.”
A fourth said: “This is Legendary.”
