Glamtush reports that Real Madrid and France star, Kylian Mbappé, has shrugged off the milestone of scoring 400 career goals, insisting that he has much bigger ambitions in football history.
According to Fabrizio Romano on Friday, Mbappe was quoted as saying, “400 goals don’t impress people. I want to make my mark in football history, so I have to score at least 400 more.”
The 26-year-old forward referenced the all-time greats, pointing to players with over 900 goals, saying that merely reaching 400 isn’t enough to stay among the elite who continue to astonish fans.
“There is one with 950+ goals, and another with 900+. 400 isn’t enough to stay in the circle of players who shock people,” he added, highlighting his drive to reach legendary status.
Mbappé’s comments underline his relentless ambition, as he continues to chase both individual records and team success, aiming to secure his place among the greatest players in football history.
Mbappe scored a brace as France thrashed Ukraine 4-0 in the World Cup qualifier on Thursday.
