Kindred Hearts with the original Hindi name Woh Apna Sa follows businessman Aditya’s liberation from his nasty wife Nisha, who makes his life miserable with her selfish and cunning ways.
The series replaces This Is Fate on June 4 at 19h00.
Plot
Kindred Hearts is a series that follows an unplanned relationship between Aditya Jindal (Sudeep Sahir) and Jhanvi Agarwal (Disha Parmar). Aditya is married to a sly and cunning wife called Nisha Jindal (Riddhi Dogra). Nisha is an exemplary daughter-in-law who everyone trusts and looks up to.
It is revealed that Aditya is hiding a secret, Nisha is not the woman everyone thinks she is and Aditya cannot bring himself to telling his naïve family and breaking their hearts.
There is a bubbly and cheerful girl called Jhanvi. She is a single girl who joins Aditya’s family business. She attempts to bring light into his life but is met with rude, unjust behavior from Aditya. Just as she grows tired of this, she learns the reasons for his gloomy outlook.
She decides to keep bringing joy to Aditya’s life, this inadvertently brings them closer together. Nisha puts her plan forward to take over the Jindal Empire and Aditya has to find a way to stop her. Jhanvi celebrates a new accomplishment in her life. Jhanvi has to deal with Aditya’s frustrations in the office and she makes a decision to try and put a smile on his face. Aditya is still adamant to show everyone Nisha’s true colors.
He chooses to remain with Nisha for the sake of their daughters Chinni Jindal and Binni Jindal and his family who think highly of Nisha. The story progresses with Nisha’s true colours exposed before her family. Aditya divorces Nisha as he and Jhanvi fall in love and after a period of hardships and they are able to get married. Aditya and Jhanvi discover true love and companionship despite Nisha trying to sabotage their bond in several ways.
However, their happiness is short-lived as Nisha seeks her revenge by killing both Aditya and Jhanvi near Kuldevi Temple.
20 Years Later
Aditya and Jhanvi are reborn as Arjun Sinha (also Sudeep Sahir) and Jia Mehra (also Disha Parmar) respectively. Jia is a model in London and Arjun is a petty cheat.
Aditya and Nisha’s elder daughter Chinni Jindal (Charvi Saraf) has grown up hating Nisha (now played by Manasi Salvi) and misses Jhanvi and Aditya.
Arjun and Jia finally meet and the story focuses on how they remember their previous lives and finally unite much to Nisha’s chagrin. The story then focuses on tensions in Jia and Arjun’s relationship.
It stars Sudeep Sahir, Disha Parmar, Ridhi Dogra, and Manasi Salvi among others.
