Kiddwaya Confirms Relationship With Erica Is Over
Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) lockdown housemate, Kiddwaya has confirmed that his relationship with co-star, Erica, has ended.
Recall that the couple met during the show and hit it off a few weeks later.
After the show, they remained close with several pictures of them together surfacing online. This, however, led fans to believe that they were still an item.
However, during an interview with The Punch in January 2021, Kiddwaya stated that he was still in search of love. He said, “I don’t think I have a love life. I think I have a life and I am trying to find love.”
His statement was a shocker and it caused a lot of confusion among their fans who believed they were still in a relationship.

Erica’s fans known as the Elites felt his response was disrespectful to their queen and they took to Twitter to ‘drag’ Kiddwaya for his utterance.
However, in a recent Question and Answer session with his fans on his Instagram page, Kiddwaya cleared the air and gave reasons for his response during the interview.
Kiddwaya explained why he gave such an answer as he described Erica as his ”girlfriend at the time”, implying that they are no longer a couple.
“I feel like I need to explain myself here! So listen up carefully. She was my girlfriend at the time, and I didn’t want people to be too involved… I wanted it to be private that’s why I said what I said. And sadly my words got twisted and it brought a lot of drags! Positive vibes from now on pls,” he said.

Kiddwaya’s statement is coming a few days after Erica endorsed a tweet by her fan, Don Mike, which states she has no business with Kiddwaya.
Don Mike wrote, “Let’s be clear. Erica has no business with him. Stop linking her with him or whatever he does.” Erica, also known as Star Girl, clearly endorsed the post by liking it.
Their relationship was one that most people had high hopes for as Kiddwaya’s billionaire father, Terry, consented to his relationship with Erica.
Terry had said in an interview that if they got married, he would hold two luxury Versace themed wedding for them.
