JUST IN: OAU Appoints Bamire As 12th Vice-Chancellor

OAU has appointed Bamire as the 12th vice-chancellor.

Glamtush reports that the governing council of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife on Thursday announced the appointment of a Professor of Agricultural Economics from the Faculty of Agriculture in the University, Adebayo Bamire as the new Vice-Chancellor of the University.

This online platform learnt that the chairman of the Council, Owelle Udoji, who made the announcement, said Bamire defeated 19 other applicants to emerge the 12th Vice-Chancellor of the university.
