There was tension around the Cele Okota axis and Mile 2 area of Apapa/Oshodi expressway as a yet-to-be-identified policeman was stabbed to death by an angry commercial motorcyclist.
Some policemen were reportedly in the area to enforce the ban on commercial motorcycle operations when they were attacked by the angry riders.
It was gathered that the Okada riders mobilized themselves and attacked the policemen.
Rifles belonging to the policemen were also reportedly carted away by the angry okada riders, who took over the expressway.
