Idris Gbadamosi is a young talented boxer from Epe, Lagos State. Growing up in the ever-busy Bariga area of the state, he attended Divine Foundation Nursery & primary school and Gbagada Comprehensive Junior School, Gbagada.
At the tender age of six, he was introduced to boxing by Tajudeen Kazeem of Always Boxing Gym where he was nurtured with exercises and discipline.
The 18-year-old, who weighs 52kg, is a force to be reckoned with in the flyweight category.
He has taken part in different competitions. He won bronze in the School Sports Festival (Ibile Games) in 2015.
He was also a boxer representing Borno and Kaduna at the National Youth Sports Festival in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Combining education with his passion for boxing so far, he has an enviable record of 68 wins and 3 losses in 71 fights.
His meeting with Demarcus ‘Chop Chop’ Corley was a big boost for him. Although it has not been an easy journey, Idris’ mantra is ‘my difficult road will lead to a beautiful destination.’
