How Primate Ayodele Warned Against Crisis After Presidential Election In Nigeria

How Primate Ayodele warned against crisis after presidential election in Nigeria has been revealed.

The presidential election of Nigeria has come and gone with the candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerging winner but there seems to be several pockets of resistance against his victory.

In different parts of the country, there have been demonstrations and even outside the country among Nigerians in diaspora. It’s been protests upon protests, unpleasant words against Tinubu, different kinds of oppositions that are not even political.

Some groups have been protesting since the day INEC announced him the winner of the election yet till now, they are still on the streets calling on the electoral body to cancel the election because it was not credible enough.

In some quarters, we hear of calls for an interim government just to ensure that Tinubu isn’t sworn in as the president of the country. Nigerian elections have not been all that rosy but this particular one can be described as the one with more crisis compared to others. In previous years, the demonstrations don’t last up to one week before people return to their normal lives but for this, it’s been more than one month yet the tension keeps getting stronger everyday.

Due to this crisis, the Department of State Services (DSS) had to confirm that there are plans to install an interim government in Nigeria. It has never been this bad and indeed, it is a confirmation that there is a crisis in the land.

No doubt, this has fulfilled the prophecy of Primate Elijah Ayodele which he released some weeks before the election. Primate Ayodele was the most vocal prophet in the country during the period and in one of his prophetic statements, he mentioned that if Peter Obi loses, there will be a crisis in the country.

He made this statement when a former minister, Femi Fani-Kayode alleged that there are plans to carry out a coup plot in the country.

These were his words, “There will be no coup, but the point is if Obi loses this election, there will be a crisis; if Tinubu loses this election, there will be a crisis.” (https://tribuneonlineng.com/there-wont-be-coup-but-there-is-a-looming-crisis-primate-warns/)

Just as Primate Ayodele mentioned, majority of those carrying out these demonstrations, causing this post-election crisis are followers of Peter Obi. Just yesterday, one of them was arrested when he constituted a nuisance on an airplane and posed to be a security threat. He was bundled out of the plane by security operatives and he identified himself as an ‘Obidient’.

Also, when Tinubu lost the presidential election in Lagos to Peter Obi, there was a serious conflict between the Igbos and Yorubas. Till the governorship election was held, Lagos was in a serious ethnicity crisis and till now, the populace of the state are yet to recover from it.

Of course, the several crises experienced in different parts of the country have fulfilled the prophecy of Primate Elijah Ayodele.
