Honourable Obasa Commissions Projects, Says His Constituency Should Expect More
The residents of the Ojo area of Lagos were in a joyous mood on Thursday as the House of Representatives member representing Ojo Federal Constituency, Honourable Adekunle Obasa commissioned some projects in his locality.
During the commissioning, Obasa added that the people should expect more projects in the years ahead.
The projects commissioned are solar powered water projects that cut across 11 wards and communities which include: borehole at agric ward A, Ilufe ward K, Mosafejo ward K, Ilogbo ward F, Ishashi ward E.
Others are commissioning of street lights on Olado street, Esa square, Ijisu street. Baale street, Ona-Odo street and Iloro street.
Honourable Obasa, while commissioning the projects also promised residents of his community of better things to come especially in areas that would advance the socio-economic well-being of the areas.
“You see, we are here to represent our people. From their yearnings, they lack water and you know water is life, Once, you give someone water, you give them life,” he said.
According to him, We have given them the projects and they are going to enjoy them. I so much cherish the welfare of my people.”
Speaking at the occasion, some of the residents expressed appreciation to the honourable for embarking on these laudable projects. They also promised that the water projects would be well taken care of, even as they asked for more of such projects.
Talking about the future plans for his people, Obasa said that they should be expecting projects that would touch their lives.
“A lot of dreams, a lot of projects are coming ahead after these ones, not just projects, but mega ones,” he stressed.
Honourable Adekunle Obasa is a two-term house of representatives member, at the Federal level, representing Ojo Federal Constituency on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
