Glamtush reports that the Hibiscus Female Publishers (HFP) celebrated the female gender in all ramifications to mark this year’s International Women’s Day.
The female journalist event, which held at Chicken Republic restaurant inside shoprite, Alausa, Ikeja had as special guest fashion designer, Blossom Gabriel and Bishop Joseph Ighalo Edoro.
The president of the body, Jane osamor, gave thanks to the ingenious quality of God that led to him creating a woman from a man.
She noted that the body was feting Hibiscus Female Publishers for International Women’s Day due to the vital role that women play in the socio-cultural values chain of each nation around the world.
Attendees spoke about their different experiences with their fellow women, such as the beauty of their mothers, being a boss, an advocate, a career woman as well as the beauty of the female gender in a male dominated world.
Bishop Joseph Ighalo Edoro, who was a special guest at the event, went down memory lane and recalled his bitter-sweet relationship with the women folk.
However, he was quick to point out that although each relationship comes with his own hurdles, no society can survive without the women folks.
