Wigwe was reported to have died following a helicopter crash in California near the Nevada border, United States of America, according to various reports.

There are also reports that his wife and son were also onboard the ill-fated helicopter.

Reports have emerged regarding how Nigerian prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele called for prayers against the death of a bank’s chief executive officer in his prophecy book titled Warnings To The Nations.

Although, Primate Ayodele didn’t specifically mention Herbert Wigwe but he categorically mentioned that the death of a bank CEO was imminent. There could be several bank CEOs this prophecy was addressing which of course, Herbert Wigwe falls into the category.

These were the prophet’s words,

“Banking Industry: Let’s pray not to lose the chief executive of any bank and pray against the death of a founder of a bank….”

This is not to celebrate the fulfillment of his prophecies but to confirm that God speaks to his prophets before any event happens and many people take some of their words for granted.

Primate Ayodele has never for once celebrated his prophecies for coming to pass and according to him, he doesn’t love it when some of his warnings come to pass but there’s absolutely nothing he can do about it because he will always prophesy according to God’s directives and whether it will come to pass or not depends on the recipients of the prophetic warnings.

It’s unfortunate that Herbert Wigwe, a prominent CEO of a Nigerian bank has died alongside his wife and child but on a larger scale, this is a call for people especially influential personalities to be committed to prayers especially when it is recommended by a servant of God.
