Harrysong has been arrested over a rift with music executive, Soberekon.

Glamtush reports that popular Nigerian singer, Harrison Tare Okiri, popularly known as Harrysong has allegedly been arrested.

This online platform gathered that he was picked up by men of the Lagos state police command on Tuesday morning, October 11 over his rift with music executive, Soso Soberekon.

Soberekon petitioned the Inspector General of Police on grounds of defamation and threat to life by Harrysong.

According to sources, Harrysong was arrested at the airport this morning after he arrived in Nigeria.

It may be recalled that Harrysong, alleged during a chat on Frankly Speaking podcast that Soso hired assassins to kill him in Port Harcourt.

Apart from alleging that Soberekan, hired assassins against him, he also called out Skiibii and Kcee, noting that the trio are not his friends as widely assumed.

He said; “90% of all the friendships are fake. There are people I’ve been working with for years. If you call their names you go say na Harry guy be this. Dem no be my guy.

“As a matter of fact, those are my real enemies. If you see Soso now, you’ll say Soso is my friend. Soso is not my friend, Soso is my enemy. He sent people to come and kill me in Port Harcourt, no jokes. Ask my team, ask everyone.”

When asked if he had proof, Harrysong said, “I have evidence, I have videos, I have pictures.

“This is no joke. You’ll say he is my friend, he’s not my friend. He wants to kill me.”

In reaction to the allegation, Soso Soberekon demanded that he retracts the statement and tender an apology.

In a suit filed by his legal representatives, the talent manager also requested the sum of N500 million for damages such claims caused to his reputation.

Sharing the lawsuit notice on his Instagram story, Soso wrote; ”As a matter of fact, I always mind my business, stay on my lane and put smiles on people’s faces. It is very disappointing that Harrysong will make such a false, reckless and defamatory statement.”
