Gunmen Abducts Two Students, Others From Nasarawa Community

Gunmen have abducted two students, others from Nasarawa community.

Glamtush reports that unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted two students of Federal University Lafia, Nasarawa State.

According to Daily Post, the incident occurred on Saturday night when the assailants invaded the university’s host community.

It was gathered that the attackers stormed the area with sophisticated weapons, shooting sporadically before whisking the victims away to an unknown destination.

According to reports the gunmen also abducted one Hon. Yahaya Adams from the community during the attack.

The state’s Police Public Relations Officer Ramhan Nansel confirmed the incident.

According to Nansel, the command has contacted the school management and has commenced an investigation into the attack.

He said, “We have met with the institution’s public relations officer, PRO and investigation is currently ongoing.”
