We are all guilty of one or more of these beauty blunders.  Whether it is applying too much foundation, wearing unequal nails or wearing clumpy mascara, there are lots of beauty blunders you make just to look beautiful daily unconsciously.

Here are 10 beauty blunders to avoid which has probably become part of your regular beauty routines.

Applying Too Foundation

Less is more even if you have the right shade of foundation. Whether you intend to use your fingers, foundation brush or a sponge, it is advisable to blend in foundation properly to achieve a smooth finish. Endeavour to blend out your foundation remembering your jawbone, hairline and neck.

Wearing Too Much Perfume

It is good to smell fresh but no one should still smell your perfume long after you have left a room or a place. So, there is no need for too much perfume. Apply perfume moderately to your pulse points and then reapply later if it’s needed.

Not Exfoliating lips before applying lipstick

No matter how beautiful the shade of your lipstick maybe, nothing distracts like a dry, flaky pout. You should exfoliate your lips until your pout is smooth and ready to rock those lovely or bold lipsticks

Over applying Lipsticks

You should avoid applying too many coats of lipstick on your lips. Instead, put the lipstick in your handbag in case you need to do a re-touch.

Wearing Unequal Nails

Your nails whether long or short should be of equal length and the shape should be consistent too. But, you can decide to polish them with different colours of nail polish if you desire.

Peeling Off Nail Polish

Peeling off your nail polish intentionally or otherwise will make your nail look appalling as well as take off layers of your nail. Once you notice signs of peeling, you should visit the salon for a proper removal. However, if you can do it at home yourself, then, do it and reapply nail polish.

Clumpy Mascara

Applying too many coats of mascara will make your lashes look clumpy. Ensure to stop after the first or second coat

Not Cleaning Makeup Brushes And Sponges

We forget that makeup build up on makeup brushes and sponges after sometime. Hence, it is advisable to wash them regularly and allow them to dry properly to prevent old makeup from caking on them.

Keeping Out-dated Makeup

Every product has its expiry date. So, once a product expires, make sure to throw them away and replace them immediately.

Brushing Your Hair Wrongly

Brushing your hair from the roots to the tips is likely to cause hair breakage and split ends. You should rather brush hair in small sections from bottom up so that if your hair is tangled somewhere, it will help detangle it.
