Group Mobilises Maritime, Allied Industries Stakeholders’ Support For Atiku

Strategic stakeholders in the maritime and allied industries have converged under the aegis of the Committee of Maritime and Allied Industries Stakeholders for Atiku Abubakar (CMAISAA) to muster enthusiastic support for Nigeria’s former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who they described as an “A-class presidential material for the nation’s 2019 General Elections.”

In eloquent testimony to the fact that a prophet could indeed be welcomed in his own land, the teeming members of the nascent body rose from an extraordinary meeting held on  Saturday, October 20, 2018, in the port city of Apapa, Lagos State, South-West Nigeria, unanimously adopting Atiku as the favoured presidential candidate of the maritime and allied industries in the forthcoming polls.

In a press release jointly signed by Messrs Obiajulu Agu and Ari Ayuba, its convener and co-convener, respectively, CMAISAA declared: “Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a leading maritime and allied industries stakeholder, in whom all other patriotic stakeholders are well pleased. We eagerly look forward to his ascending to the highest elective political office in the land. We will work enthusiastically to make this a reality.

“Atiku is not only one of our own, he is adequately equipped to acquit himself most creditably as Nigeria’s President. Having retired honourably as a top officer of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Atiku has remained a strategic investor in the maritime and allied industries, the gateway to the nation’s economy and her main revenue earners. Such an immensely gifted undustrialist as Atiku can only but be an invaluable asset to Nigeria as President.”

CMAISAA recalled that Atiku has consistently made bold interventions to uplift efficient service delivery in the multifaceted maritime and allied industries, efforts, which, according to the group, have greatly impacted the national economy positively.

CMAISAA added: “Even though they are main arteries sustaining Nigeria, the maritime and allied industries are not operating in isolation, it is, therefore, a matter of great joy that Atiku’s record of excellence is extended to his investments in several other sectors, including education, agriculture, manufacturing and hospitality.

“With his sterling track record, it is easy to imagine that, under an Atiku administration, Nigeria will attain heights that have largely eluded her and remained as mere potential over the years.”

The 2019 polls, according to CMAISAA, offers the Nigerian electorate a golden opportunity to have at the helm of affairs of the country a man such as Atiku, who is imbued with the rare combination of being a true nationalist and an internationalist, blending comfortably in either urban or rural settings for impactful positive goals wherever he goes.

“Atiku is widely-accepted across Nigeria, because he truly understands and is equipped with appropriate capacity to manage her peculiar socioeconomic dynamics in order to restore the faith of Nigerians and the rest of the world in Project Nigeria for genuine unity, progress, and prosperity of the country,” CMAISAA stated.

CMAISAA described itself as a coalition of Nigerians, strategic operators in the maritime and allied industries, critical sectors of the Nigerian economy, who are very concerned about restoring faith in Nigeria for genuine unity, peace, progress and prosperity to reign.

CMAISAA is a grouping of Nigerians who are filled with angst that Nigeria is in a bad place, and, are, therefore, keenly interested in working for and actualising the enthronement of good governance in Nigeria via a Presidency under the astute businessman and politician, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

“CMAISAA is driven by the firm belief that Nigeria will realise her full potential and attain the full heights of her glory under the Presidency of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; a man of colossal credentials in both the public and private sectors locally and internationally, including the maritime and allied industries,” the group stated.

It went on: “The bustling ranks of CMAISAA can only continue to swell as the ideals of a Presidency under Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, one of their own in the maritime and allied industries, wins over more stakeholders.

“A dynamic organisation in its configuration, CMAISAA will engage with individuals and organisations that share our vision for Nigeria.”
