Gov Okowa, Wife Go Into Isolation After Daughter Tested Positive For COVID-19
Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, says one of his daughters has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
The governor announced this on Friday via his verified Twitter handle.
He noted that in line with the procedures of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), his family would go into isolation for two weeks.
The tweet read; ”Earlier today, Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for #COVID19.”
“Hence, in-line with the laid out procedures, we are both going into isolation for the next 14-days. We will continue to keep you all updated.”
