Gov. Ambode Unveils Liberation Statue Of Fela In Lagos

Lagos State celebrated late Afro-beat music legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti with a 3-part event on Sunday October 15. These were unveiling of the Liberation statue at Allen Avenue Roundabout, Ikeja which was also his 79th posthumous birthday and then a  visit to Kalakuta Museum.

Later, there was a Special Lagos Jump hosted by Governor Ambode at the Afrika Shrine with live performance by Femi Kuti as the 2017 Felabration wrapped up.
