Gospel Singer, Sinach Becomes First Black Songwriter To Top Billboard USA For 7 Weeks
Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Osinachi Joseph, popularly known as Sinach has excitedly shared her latest achievement as being No. 1 on billboard USA for Christian songwriter for 7 weeks.
The singer noted that her achievement is the first from Africa. The mother of one happily took to her page on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to share her latest achievement as a songwriter.
Sinach stated that she is the first black person and the first from Africa to achieve such.
“So apparently We have been No 1 on billboard USA for Christian song writer for 7 weeks !! Look at God!! First Black person. First from Africa … So grateful to God!! Thank you,” the Way Maker crooner tweeted.
The Billboard is the music industry’s standard record chart in the United States for songs. Chart rankings are based on sales, radio play, and online streaming in the United States. The ‘Way Maker’ singer, ranked first above other songwriters like Chris Brown, Ethan Hulse, Jason Ingram, Paul Mabury, and others.
