Gospel singer Dele Gold has been laid to rest.
Glamtush reports that popular Nigerian gospel singer, Dele Agbeyo, with the stage name Dele Gold has been buried.
This online news platform learnt that the Ekiti-born singer died after a brief illness on September 11.
The burial rites began on Tuesday with a service of songs, Christian wake-keep, candlelight procession and artistes night at Victoria Garden Conference Centre, Ikeja.
His body was accompanied by his wife, children, and other family members as the funeral service took place.
The burial ceremony which took place at his residence in Abule Egba, Lagos, yesterday, Thursday, September 19 was attended by prominent figures like Nollywood actor, Saidi Balogun, and gospel musicians Genesis, Wale Dada and Femi Solar.
Dele who was also known as The Miliki Gospel King, was a native of Usi, Ekiti State. He was known for his songs, including ‘Divine Warning’, ‘Every Knee’, ‘Infinite God’, and ‘A Thousand Tongues’.
Throughout his career, he shared the stage with prominent artistes, including Sir Shina Peters, Lanre Teriba, aka Atorise, and Abel Dosunmu, aka Mega 99. In 2019, he collaborated with Ebenezer Obey on his album Hearty Blessing.
