GLAMODI Nigeria Unveils Speakers For Benue Girls Soar 2018

Speakers for this year’s Benue Girls Soar, an initiative of Glamorous Mothers Development Initiative (GLAMODI) has been unveiled.

Benue Girls Soar, an all-girls mentoring and empowerment summit is set to commemorate the United Nations International Day of the Girl 2018.

With the theme “Developing a skilled Girl-force” in line with the United Nations theme, Glamodi is committing to investing in skills training and livelihood activities for 50 adolescent girls in Benue State.

The Executive Director of GLAMODI, Stephanie Apel in a statement said she believes that every girl should be empowered to earn a living whether or not they would ever need it, as girls are leaders who will use the skills they develop today to build their communities and create a better future for us all.

The grand finale will take place on October 10, at the Steam Hall, No 56. Kashim Ibrahim way, Old GRA, Markurdi, Benue State at 9:00 am prompt.

Speakers at this year’s event include a John Maxwell team member, Arch. Nguvan Kyenge who will be speaking on the topic, “Critical thinking and problem solving.”

Also, other speakers like Oryiman Alu of SMEDAN Makurdi will be talking on the topic, “Accessing Business Finance”,  Onyinye Okoye  “Starting and running a sustainable business” while Jennifer Gbishe Igoh will be talking about, “Self confidence and decision making.”
