#GirlsCountCampaign: BBNaija’s Bisola To Attend UN General Assembly In New York

It will be recalled that Big Brother Naija reality show first runner up, Bisola Aiyeola, during the show won  the ONE’s Back to School presentation task, where she pleaded with Nigerian lawmakers to give attention to girls’ education.

She will be attending the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York as ONE Ambassador.

ONE’s #GirlsCount campaign focuses on the importance of girls’ education, recognizing that globally, 130 million girls are out of school globally, with 51 million of them in Africa.

In a recent Instagram post, Bisola wrote:

“In Africa, we have about 51 million girls out of schools and 130million girls globally. Let’s all join hands to create more awareness so that our leaders can put in more effort to eradicate poverty by educating and empowering girls all over the world. Lend your voice by going over to ONE.ORG website and join #girlcount

campaign. Together we can make this work. God bless you my dear Fam. #onecampaign #girlcount #povertyissexist#educatethegirlchild #Nigeria #Africa#Global #world @onecampaign
