Ghanaian-Born Stylist Named First Black Male Editor Of British Vogue

Internationally acclaimed top Uk fashion magazine, British Vogue, has named its first black editor after over 100 years of its existence. The new editor is 45-year-old Edward Kobina Enninful.

He becomes the 11th editor of Vogue and its first male editor. He succeeds Alexandra Shulman, who served as head of the magazine for 25 years. Until his appointment, Enninful was head of W Magazine Fashion and Style Director. He spent his childhood in London and started his fashion career after he was model-scouted in 1988.

He takes charge of the magazine on August 1.
