Glamtush reports that Ekiti-born former Super Falcons goalkeeper Bidemi Grace Ebunoluwa Aluko-Olaseni has passed away after an eight-year battle with cancer.
This online news platform understands that the demise of Aluko-Olaseni was announced on X platform, formerly called Twitter by a social media influencer; Ekiti Baby Governor TK.
He announced that the late shot-stopper, a “former Falconet goalkeeper, former Rivers Angel keeper, former Ekiti Babes Goalkeeper.
“Former Sunshine Queens goalkeeper, former Olgar Queens goalkeeper, FCT Babes Alumna, former Makbet Queens goalkeeper.
“Burial arrangements will be announced by the family. Goodnight our Champion,” the post reads.
Also, it was gathered that Aanu Albert Aluko, a brother to Bidemi confirmed her death behalf of the family in a statement on Saturday.
Aanu Albert Aluko said, “Bidemi peacefully departed after 8 years valiant battle with Cancer.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their unwavering support throughout her illness,” the statement said.
Bidemi is survived by her husband, siblings, and aged parents.
Burial arrangements will be announced later by the family.
