A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Chief Idowu Sofola, 84, is dead. Sofola died yesterday (Friday) evening at his Lagos residence at about 8.00 pm.
The Ikenne born jurist will be buried today at Ikenne by 4.00 p.m. according to Islamic rites. The late Sofola was an accomplished jurist, Benched and former President of Nigeria Bar Association.
He was also the president of the Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE) before is demise.
