Nigeria’s former Minister of the Economy/Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has been appointed an independent non-executive director at Standard Chartered Plc in the United Kingdom.
Okonjo-Iweala would be earning £130,000 yearly for her expertise in financial and development financing
Ngozi, whose appointment takes effect from November 1st 2017 will be working with Standard Chartered PLC, a British multinational banking and financial services company with its headquarters in London and with a presence in 70 countries.
