Five Reportedly Dead As Boko Haram Shoots Down Helicopter In Borno

 

 

 

Boko Haram have shot down a helicopter belonging to the Nigerien government in Borno State.

The incident was said to have occurred on Morning Tuesday, November 17, Daily Trust reports.

“The helicopter was said to be hovering around the Banki area around the Bama axis and it was shut down by the insurgents. The five occupants all perished,” the source said

The town is located in Bama, a local government area frequently terrorised by Boko Haram.

Five persons are reportedly dead.

However, the total number of passengers in the aircraft is not known yet.
