Federal Ministry Of Water Resources Appoints Nollywood Actress, Stephanie Linus National OPS-WASH Ambassador
Nollywood actress cum filmmaker, Stephanie Linus has been appointed as the National Ambassador for OPS-WASH by the Nigerian Minister of Water Resources, Engr. Suleiman H. Adamu.
In his address, the Minister charged the new ambassador, Stephanie Linus to inspire behavioral change amongst Nigerians and to take responsibility for their environment with her new role as OPS-WASH Ambassador.
Applauding her efforts with the “Hygiene First Campaign”, the Minister, Engr. Adamu implored her and her team to come up with different activities that would encourage environmental sustainability across the nation.
The National Coordinator for OPS-WASH, Dr. Nicholas Igwe epressed excitement for the involvement of the entertainment industry through Stephanie Linus in the WASH sector which would create behavior change amongst the people.
With her new role, she is expected to challenge Nigerians to make good hygiene a culture, as well as inspire citizen participation and responsibility.
