Father Kills And Buries His Four-Year-Old Son In Anambra State
A father identified as, Christian Alisigwe from Ihite Azia, Ihiala local government area of Anambra State has been arrested for killing his four-year-old son.
According to reports, the 35-year-old father allegedly butchered his son, Ebubechukwu Alisigwe with a cutlass.
The Polie authorities currently investigating the incident are yet to confirm the reason for the father’s actions but revealed that the suspect buried his son after killing him.
SP Haruna Mohammed, police spokesperson in Anambra said the corpse has been exhumed and deposited in a morgue, while the suspect has been arrested.
He said, “On the 9/07/2020, at about 3:21:pm, Police operatives attached to Azia Police Station arrested one Christian Alisigwe ‘m’ aged 35 years of ihite Azia in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State.
“Suspect allegedly used a cutlass and killed his own biological son namely Ebubechukwu Alisigwe ‘m’ aged 4years of the same address and buried the corpse in a shallow grave at his compound.
Haruna said the case had been transferred to State CID Awka, while a discreet investigation into the reason for the action had commenced.
