Fashion: What Is Expected At AMVCA 2018

The 2018 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) holds today, Saturday, September 1. And no doubt many will be looking out for how their favourite celebrities will grace this special event.

Beyond the award which is presented by Multichoice to recognize outstanding achievement in television and film, celebrities step on the red carpet donning different styles of sexy, smashing, stunning and dapper outfits just to standout.

Well, don’t be surprised to see some celebrities emulate foreign celebrities, while others would prefer to customize their outfit by famous Nigerian designers. Whichever they opt for, the advice is that they should ensure the outfit brings out their best and leaves a long lasting fashion statement.

However, one fact remains that female celebrities would want to outdo themselves. But we all know that those referred to as the ‘queens of the red carpet’ will leave up to expectation as all eyes will be on them.

Also, ladies will grace the event spotting different styles of hairs, makeup and accessories to complete their overall look.

For men

• Men should are expected to attend the AMVCA looking their best in classic suit and tie because it’s a special event.
• Alternatively, men can opt for dark or blue jeans, a blazer with dress shirt for a stylish look if you are not a suit type.
• They should step on the red carpet looking clean, dapper and dashing in their outfit.
• And shoes should match your outfit.

• The ladies are expected to flaunt their curves in sexy and eye-popping evening gowns in various styles, colours and fabrics.
• Outfit should be stylish and comfortable.
• Female outfit should speak elegance and poise because it’s a special event.
• And if you don’t know what to wear, you can never go wrong with the Little Black Dress (LBD). You can add glamour to your look with a pair or red pumps or shoes with glitters on it.
• Make-up should be clean and perfect for the evening while hair should be well styled to compliment your look.
• Avoid glittery makeup if possible.
• Instead of wearing a wristwatch, ladies should opt for accessorize with cuff bangle bracelets as they come in different designs.
