Enforcement And Compliance Professionals In Nigeria Honours AIG Ahmed Iliyasu

 

 

 

 

The executives of Association of Enforcement and Compliance Professionals of Nigeria led by the Director General cum C.E.O, Pastor M.A Lawson, on 29th September, 2020 awarded assistant Inspector General of Police in-charge of Zone 2 Command, Onikan Lagos, AIG Ahmed Iliyasu as “ENFORCEMENT AND COMPLIANCE PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR 2020.”

The Police Public Relations Officer of the zone, DSP Hauwa Idris Adamu, who disclosed this in a statement sent to National Association of Online Security Reporters, NAOSRE declared that the Director General/C.E.O, Pastor Michael A. Lawson in company of Dr. Samuel Bamisaye, National Director of Training, Mrs Omolola Igbafa, National Director of Administration and Finance, Mrs Maremi A. Olofindana, National Director of Events and Programme, and Mr Ayo Oluwole, National Director of Logistics were ushered into the office of the AIG where introduction of the Zonal management team and presentation of the award took place.

In response, the Director General/C.E.O in his speech before presentation of the award said; “the award is in recognition of the AIG’s Outstanding leadership and managerial skill, which has uniquely impacted on the society and improved National Enforcement and Compliance in Nigeria.”

Meanwhile, the AIG in his response stated that, community Policing is a Strategy in which Communities partner actively with the local Police, identifying and prioritizing threats in cities, towns, villages and streets.

Furthermore, developing plans for addressing the threats, work with the communities to find solutions to these problems through partnership, problem solving and organizational transformation.

AIG Iliyasu affirmed that the partnership will provide concise practice and effective community policing strategies through right Action, right conduct, right Behaviour to ensure crime prevention, crime fighting and community intelligence.

The award was presented to the assistant Inspector General of Police in his office while the event was drawn to a close amidst group photographs.
