#EndSARS: One Dead As Driver Rams Car Into Protesters In Ondo

 

 

 

A car rammed into #EndSARS protesters in Ondo State, killing one person and injuring three others.

It was gathered that the incident happened in front of the Ondo State Governor’s Office, in the Alagbaka area of Akure on Thursday.

The accident involved a Toyota Camry with a number plate, LND 778 GL, and two commercial motorcycles.

One of the victims was said to have died on the spot while others were rushed to the hospital.

Confirming the incident, Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Mr Tee-Leo Ikoro, said the deceased was one of the #EndSARS protesters.

He also stated that the driver was immediately arrested.

He said, “The family of the deceased have agreed to accept their fate and they have requested for the body for burial. So they have settled the matter.”
