Emmanuela Nkasi Wins 2017 Miss AGN-EKO Beauty Pageant

Emmanuela Nkasi representing Mainland Local Government Area of Lagos State has emerged winner of the 2017 Miss AGN-EKO Beauty Pageant.

The new queen who hails from Ikom in Cross Rivers state walked tall among 17 other leggy damsels to win the crown in a colourful event attended by the founding chairman board of trustees Actors Guild of Nigeria, Prince Ifeanyi Dike and other guests drawn across all walks of life including Businessman and Chief Executive officer of Future Pride properties Joseph Ighalo Pjay, Nollywood actor, Uche Anyamele,  blogger, Angela Davies, Happiness Kalu, Bukola Arinola, Henry Obidi and US based Model, Ejiro Jalogho among others.

 

The event got to its peak when 6 of the 17 contestants were picked after a drama presentation and creative display by all the contestants. Others that held the audience spellbound were Vashni Njaka,  first runner up who also emerged Miss Photogenic, 2nd runner up, Precious Okechukwu

, 3rd Runner up, Olaoluwa Wonderful, Miss Face of AGN-EKO, Kelly Akoso, who won the Most Industrious Queen Award.

Queen Emmanuela who will be referred to as Miss AGN-EKO revealed after the event that the empowerment of the less privilege in our society and promoting the excellent spirit of Lagos will be a top priority during her reign

In his response, Chairman AGN Lagos Chapter, Don Pedro Aganbi congratulated the new queen and urged her to use her reign to develop a pet project.

 

“The objective of the pageant is to discover tourism potentials for Nollywood and corporate Organisations. We believe that the pageant would continue to foster and create new role models who through this beauty pageant will serve as ambassadors that will define a new Lagos state cum Nigeria and enrich the beauty of the Nigerian woman,” said Aganbi.
