DSS Rearrest Sowore, Bakare Less Than 24 Hours After His Release

The Department of State Services (DSS) has rearrested the publisher of SaharaReporters and convener of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare, on Friday morning after desecrating the court and chasing away the presiding judge of the Federal High Court.

This is coming less than 24 hours after their release. The duo were released at about 7 pm on Thursday night, December 5.

However, before the secret police were able to move him back to their headquarters this morning, Sowore revealed to Nigerians that they tried to break him while he was in custody.

Sowore also said that they tried to kill him in court in order to carry out their threat that he would not leave their custody alive.
