Dignitaries Honour Late Timesman, Former Vice-Chancellor Adeleke University, Dayo Alao At Funeral

The funeral service for the late Timesman and former Vice-Chancellor, Adeleke University, Ede, Professor Samuel Ekundayo Alao better known as Dayo Alao held at his hometown, Oke-Oyi, near Ilorin, Kwara State, Thursday morning.

Royalty, top media personalities, community leaders, and academia were fully represented at the open-air service.

In attendance were, among many others, the Eesa of Omuaran and former acting Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Chief Jide Adebayo and his wife, Ifedun as well as the former Chief Librarian of the Daily Times, Aare Olatunji Okegbola.
