Yet to be released Dapchi Schoolgirl, Leah Sharibu turns 15 years old today, Monday, May 14, in the captivity of Boko Haram, people who are willing to cause her emotional and physical harm.
In an exclusive interview with Pulse Nigeria today, her father talks about how the family has been in a confused state since the abduction with no word from the government.
He said, “We are just sad. We are even confused in the family right now. I have not heard anything from the government concerning my daughter. I’m pleading with the government to do their duty.”
Despite the public pressure and all the promises, Leah Sharibu turns 15 today and she’s still not back home to the warm embrace of her family.
It would be recalled that on the night of February 19, 2018, 14-year-old Leah Sharibu along with other girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists from their school, Government Girls Science and Technical Secondary School in Dapchi, Bursari local government area of Yobe state.
