COVID-19: Funke Akindele Slammed For Throwing Full House Birthday Party

A concerned Nigerians have taken to social media to slam actress and producer, Funke Akindele-Bello and her husband for throwing a full house birthday despite the Federal Government order for a compulsory 14-days lockdown in order to curb the coronavirus pandemic.

Her husband, Nigerian rapper Abdul Rasheed Bello better known as JJC Skillz, turned a year older yesterday. And a video of so many people celebrating with the couple in their house has emerged online and this did not go down with many people as Funke is a Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) ambassador, hence, the party was not expected from her.

A Twitter user with the handle @DrOlufunmilayo who is obviously displeased with the actress called Funke ‘a total disgrace’ as an NCDC ambassador.

“Dear @PoliceNG  and @NCDCgov, Funke Akindele and her husband threw a full house party yesterday in their house. Funke is an NCDC ambassador. She is a total disgrace and an absolute idiot for this disregard for commonsense and putting people’s lives at risk. RT till someone acts.”
