COVID-19 Cases In Lagos Likely To Peak In August – Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi

Lagos State Commissioner for health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has revealed that cases of COVID-19  in the state is likely to peak in August.

Prof. Akin Abayomi while speaking at a press briefing at Alausa, Lagos said;

“Based on postulations, COVID-19 cases are like to peak next month; we are hoping it peaks soon and the curve eventually gets flattened.”

Lagos state has been recording the highest number of cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) daily in Nigeria and is the state with the highest number of cases since the index case in the country.
