Women should look forward to a new brand of lipstick from footwear designer, Christian Louboutin in September.
After launching a signature nail polish collection last year, the designer has announced a lipstick collection that is going to make any makeup junkie’s pulse race. The lipsticks will come in vial-like golden packaging with ribbon ties.
The lipstick will be available in three finishes which are Silky Satin, Velvet Matte and Sheer Voile in 38 colours. The 38 colours are derived from the house’s most iconic shoes and handbags such as borderline-black burgundies, delicate nudes and iconic crimson.
Silky Satin collection consists of 20 shades and offers a medium-to-full-coverage lip colour with a satin finish and hint of shine. Velvet Matte features nine colours, it is highly pigmented and has a soft, matte finish. While the Sheer Voile comes in nine shades, with a sheer finish for a veil of colour with “luminous shine.”
The lipstick however is multi-functional. The cap has a ring at the top, and by threading a chain or ribbon through it, you can instantly wear it as a necklace and also have an easy access in case you need a touch-up.
The lipstick comes with a price tag of $90.
