Chinelo Megafu the doctor Killed in the Kaduna-Abuja train attack was to leave Nigeria on Friday.
Glamtush reports that Steph Adamu, a Twitter user, has disclosed that Dr. Chinelo Megafu, a young Nigerian medical doctor killed by terrorists in the attack on the Kaduna-Abuja train on Monday night, had secured papers to travel abroad to continue her medical practice.
Adamu, who seems to know the late 27-year-old doctor closely, said she was working at St. Gerald’s Hospital in Kaduna but wanted more for herself, hence, she resigned last month to travel abroad this Friday.
Steph Adamu tweeted, “Dr Chinelo was making an honest living, she was working at St Gerald’s hospital in Kaduna, she wanted more for herself and processed her papers to leave this hell-hole. She resigned last month to leave the country this Friday then this happened. Nigeria why???”

This online platform had earlier reported that Chinelo had taken to her Twitter handle, @nelo_x on Monday night to report that she had been shot by the terrorists while asking for prayers.
“I’m in the train . I have been shot please pray for me,” she had tweeted.
She, however, later died from injuries.
