Bus Fully Loaded With Deeper Life Members Catches Fire In Lagos

Tragedy was averted on Sunday after a bus conveying at least 100 members of the Deeper Life Bible Church caught up in flames.

The chattered bus, belonging to LAGBUS Transport Company, was conveying the worshipers, who were on their way from the ministry’s just concluded Easter Retreat. The incident occurred on Otedola Bridge, Berger area of Lagos State.

It was gathered that the bus burst into flames as people scampered for safety before the raging inferno could consume them.
The timely arrival of officials of the Lagos State Fire Services and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, saved the worshipers from being burnt to ashes. Director, Lagos State Fire Service, Rasak Fadipe said his men arrived the scene on time and were able to rescue worshipers and confirmed that no life was lost. However, the bus was completely razed by the inferno.
