Burna Boy Loses All Seven Nominations At 2023 BET Awards (FULL LIST)

Burna Boy lost all his seven nominations at the 2023 BET Awards.

 

Glamtush reports that Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, on Tuesday, lost all his seven nominations in the 2023 BET Awards.

This online platform understands that the awards ceremony was held on October 3 at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center and was later broadcast on Tuesday, October 10.

He was nominated in the following categories: ‘Hip-Hop Artiste of the Year’, ‘Song of the Year,’ ‘Best Hip-Hop Video’, ‘Best Collaboration’, ‘Best Live Performer’, ‘Lyricist of the Year’, and ‘Hustler of the Year’.

Burna Boy was toppled by American rapper Kendrick Lamar in the categories of Hip Hop Artist of the Year, Lyricist of the Year, and Best Live Performer of the Year.

He also lost the Hustler of the Year award to 50 Cent and the Best Collaboration of the Year award for his track ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ starring 21 Savage to Lil Durk and J. Cole’s ‘All My Life.’
