Britain’s Got Talent Judges Cry As Man Sets Himself Ablaze

Britain’s Got Talent returned for its second episode of the 2023 series on Sunday night and viewers were treated to an abundance of entertaining acts as judges Simon Cowell, 63, Amanda Holden, 52, Alesha Dixon, 44, and newcomer Bruno Tonioli, 67, decided who to take through to the next round of the competition.

Show fans were left shocked when one of the hopefuls set himself on fire as he attempted to complete a Rubik’s Cube.

Mail Online reports that the second installment saw head judge Simon select his Golden Buzzer auditionee – choirboy Malakai Bayoh, 13 – with the singer moving the panel to tears while fans at home took to social media to demand he win the £250,000 prize and take to the stage in front of King Charles and Queen Camilla at the Royal Variety Performance later this year.

Elsewhere, a Latin dance duo delighted viewers as one of the pair, Nathan – a 24-year-old dancer with Down’s Syndrome – gave Alesha a sarcastic side-eye when she surprised him with a visit to ask if he’d like to appear on the show before he went on to have a ‘sassy’ exchange with former Strictly Come Dancing critic Bruno.

Everything you need to know about BGT

Britain’s Got Talent viewers were left ‘obsessed’ by the show’s Coronation Street themed intro on Sunday.

While filming in Manchester hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly lost the judges as they explored the soap’s famous set.

Bumping into a whole host of famous faces they later found Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli at Roy’s Rolls cafe.

Racing to Twitter, one viewer jokingly asked if Weatherfield’s serial killer Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) would choose one of the judges as his next victim.

While another viewer, loving the hysterical sketch, wrote, “That Corrie sketch was brilliant!’

Another commented, “Great start to BGT loving the Coronation Street sketch!”

Another wrote, “Obsessed with the random Corrie intro,” and a fifth remarked, ”BGT starting at Corrie, love that!”

The sketch saw the presenters wondering around the cobbles as Dec admitted he was tracking Simon Cowell’s phone.

The duo bumped into Corrie’s Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) who looked rather shocked, Ant said, “Ant McPartlin, former rapper, current TV host and two time rear of the year award.”

Dec quickly butted in to say he was only “runner-up” but Sally didn’t seem to take much notice as she told him he was “standing on her foot” and walked off.

The clip cut to judges Simon, Amanda, Alesha and Bruno sat around a small square table at Roy’s Rolls cafe.

Mail Online gathered that dressed in their finery, Amanda looked incredible in a bold red figure hugging dress and pulled her long blonde tresses up in a neat high ponytail.

Also, Alesha stunned in a pink number and slicked her dark locks back into a stylish up-do, while Bruno cut a dapper figure in a black leather jacket.
