The Super Eagles thrashed Lesotho 3-0 in their final Group L match in the 2021 AFCON Qualifiers at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos State on Tuesday.

Napoli’s striker Victor Osimhen gave Super Eagles their first goal 22nd minute into the match while Oghenekaro Etebo doubled the Nigerian team lead in the 51st minute.

Paul Onuachu, who came in as a substitute in the 76 minutes to replace Osimhen got the third goal for the Eagles on 83 minutes.

About 8,000 fans were allowed into the stadium to cheer the Eagles to victory and they did not disappoint.

The Nigerian side had already qualified for AFCON after defeating Benin Republic by a lone goal at the weekend in Port Novo.
