Breaking: Nigeria Records 779 New Cases Of COVID-19, Total Exceed 24,000

 

 

On Saturday, Nigeria recorded 779 new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of infected persons to 24,077.

This was confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in a tweet via its official handle.

Lagos has the highest number of 285 followed by Rivers with 68 and FCT and Edo with 60 each.

The total number of discharged patients stands at 8625 while 558 deaths have been recorded.
