BREAKING: Many Reportedly killed In Bauchi Auto Crash
No fewer than 10 people have reportedly died in a fatal crash near Bara town in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
However, the details of the incident are still sketchy.
The Punch reports that the crash happened at about 7.00 pm on Sunday.
The lone crash reportedly occurred when the driver of a bus which was heading to Gombe State from Kaduna State lost control and veered off into the bush.
The tyre of the bus was said to have pulled out before it somersaulted.
When contacted, the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Bauchi State, Yusuf Abdullahi, confirmed the crash.
He, however, said that he could not give full details of the crash because “our men are currently at the scene of the crash carrying out a rescue operation.”
Abdullahi added, “As soon as the rescue operation is over and I have full details of the crash, I’ll furnish you with it.”
