The body of Femi Osibona, the Managing Director of Fourscore Homes, has been recovered in the rubble of the collapsed Ikoyi building.
Fourscore Homes is the firm constructing the 21-storey building which collapsed on Monday, on Gerrard Road in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The National Emergency Management Agency confirmed this to TheCable on Thursday evening after rescuers discovered the body.
Earlier, the dead body of Osibona’s Personal Assistant was recovered from the rubble.
So far, authorities have announced 39 recovered bodies from the rubble.
Rescue efforts are still ongoing at the scene of the incident with families and friends of those trapped in the building accusing government officials and rescue workers of being ineffective.
